The objective of the Phlebotomy Seminar is to learn the basics of phlebotomy and venipuncture as it relates to patient care. Involves technological medical discipline who are involved in drawing blood from patients for blood analysis by using various techniques. Phlebotomists help doctors and nurses in patient care. Phlebotomist will be in demand for as long as there is blood to donate, diseases to fight and patients to treat, and in-fact there is a growing need for phlebotomists in Canada. This hands on workshop refreshes the phlebotomy practices to be followed.

  • Degree or Diploma in a medical discipline OR a minimum of 1 year experience in a medical setting
  • Current students should be at least halfway through completion of their current program and be in good standing
