TRAIN FOR A NEW CAREER WITH SECOND CAREER GOVERNMENT FUNDING!

The Second Career strategy launched by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities pays for the training or education that Ontarian require to get a better job. If you’ve been laid off or have not been working or if you’ve been laid off and working a temporary job just to cover costs, you may qualify for up to $28,000 in financial help to get new skills for jobs that are currently in demand. Second Career funding can help pay for:
• Tuition
• Living Expenses
• Help caring for dependents
• Travel
• Transportation
• Disability supports
• Other living and training costs
• Books

Those who qualify may have some or all of these costs covered within the Second Career Strategy. In order to find out if you qualify for Second Career funding, you must visit a Employment Ontario assessment center for an assessment interview.
